PODzazzing

PODzazzing is the process of transforming the initial ideas to improve the PODS into inspirational ReWild Projects to benefit people and nature with a special focus on  Lake Simcoe.

Stay tuned to this site for information on POP Up PODzazzing Sessions that will be held this winter.

The PIZZAZZ! Criteria

The first step in PODzazzing is to apply a unique set of criteria to convert the initial design ideas into dynamic vehicles of change.

Projects that make it through this round are then put up for community voting. The ReWild Restoration Projects are profiled on the Project website, along with a set of criteria. Social media strategies are put into place to promote the voting throughout Keswick Creeks. The top 15 projects will be selected for implementation.

The successful ReWild Restoration Projects will be matched with a coach/mentor who work with the project to ensure they are successful. The LSRCA will assist the Restoration Project team by putting in place simple monitoring mechanisms to ensure they are meeting their goals. MNR will also work with the teams in their stewardship capacity. This expertise is co-ordinated by the Project mentor/coach.
